Wal-Mart's Blogger Blues

The New York Times carried an article this past weekend about Wal-Mart's attempts to outreach and influence the blogging community in their quest to improve their tarnished and battered corporate reputation. While I'm no fan of Wal-Mart, the company has certainly taken its hits over the past year, and you have to kind of wonder, when are they going to cut themselves a break?
